3D Avatar Modeler
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled 3D Modeler to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in designing and animating engaging 3D characters for virtual and mixed reality environments. Responsibilities
- Design and create high-quality 3D human avatars, including character animations, for virtual and mixed reality applications.
- Collaborate closely with the lab team to determine the optimal level of detail for character models, balancing visual appeal and user interaction.
- Optimize 3D assets for real-time performance while maintaining superior visual quality.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in industry-standard 3D modeling and animation tools such as Blender, Maya, or similar software (mandatory).
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Currently enrolled in a BSc or MSc program in Architecture, Computer Science, Data & Decision Science, or a related discipline.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with virtual and mixed reality development platforms, particularly Unity.
- Experience working with MetaQuest 3 to develop virtual and mixed reality environments.
- Prior experience in research or development in related fields.
Machine Vision Developer (real-time object tracking)
Job Description
We are seeking a talented developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in applying and customizing existing open source machine vision algorithms for real-time dynamic objects tracking (including movable desks, chairs, furniture) within our lab. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to an innovative project at the forefront of intelligent and interactive environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize machine vision algorithms to detect and track movable furniture (e.g., desks, chairs, dynamic partitions) within the lab.
- Optimize algorithm performance for real-time accuracy and computational efficiency.
- Integrate the algorithms into a broader sensing system that includes real-time human pose estimation.
Qualifications
- Experience with machine vision algorithm development and customization, particularly using Python and open-source frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt algorithms to new challenges.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
- Currently enrolled in a BSc or MSc program in Architecture, Computer Science, Data & Decision Science, or a related discipline.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with open-source machine vision projects.
- Familiarity with real-time tracking systems and performance optimization.
